Automatic Credit Reload: overview
Updated a week ago
Automatic Credit Reload (auto-reload) keeps your Billplz Credit Balance positive by automatically deducting from your daily collection when your balance reaches zero or goes negative. This prevents payment processing interruptions caused by insufficient credit.
How it works
FPX transaction fees are deducted from your Billplz Credit Balance, not from customer payments. If your credit balance is insufficient to cover fees, the system automatically reloads credit by deducting from your daily collection in multiples of MYR 100.
When auto-reload occurs
Auto-reload triggers when:
- Your Billplz Credit Balance reaches zero or goes negative
- You have incoming customer payments to deduct from
The system deducts the minimum amount needed to restore a positive balance, rounding up to the nearest MYR 100.
Examples
Example 1:
Sufficient credit balance (no auto-reload)
- Credit Balance: MYR 10.00
- Customer payment: MYR 200.00 (FPX transaction)
- Transaction fee: MYR 1.10
Result:
- Credit Balance after fee: MYR 8.90
- Payout to your bank: MYR 200.00 (full amount, next business day)
- No auto-reload needed
Example 2:
Small daily collection, negative balance
- Credit Balance: -MYR 1.10
- Daily collection total: MYR 10.80 (1 transaction)
Result:
- System transfers full MYR 10.80 to Credit Balance
- New Credit Balance: MYR 9.70
- Payout to your bank: MYR 0.00 (entire collection used to restore credit)
Example 3:
Large collection, negative balance under MYR 100
- Credit Balance: -MYR 50.00
- Daily collection total: MYR 1,000.00 (10 transactions)
Result:
- System deducts MYR 100 from collection
- New Credit Balance: MYR 50.00
- Payout to your bank: MYR 900.00
Example 4:
Large collection, negative balance over MYR 100
- Credit Balance: -MYR 150.00
- Daily collection total: MYR 2,000.00 (10 transactions)
Result:
- System deducts MYR 200 from collection (rounds up to nearest MYR 100)
- New Credit Balance: MYR 50.00
- Payout to your bank: MYR 1,800.00
Avoiding auto-reload
As long as your Credit Balance remains positive, auto-reload will not occur. To prevent collection deductions:
- Manual reload: Top up credit when your balance runs low. See Reload your credit balance
- Monitor your balance: Check your Credit Balance regularly, especially during high-transaction periods
